We’re thrilled to share that Kutchenhaus Swiss Cottage has been named Kitchen Showroom of the Year at the prestigious 2025 BKU Awards, a recognition that reflects the dedication, creativity, and hard work of the team on the ground.

The BKU Awards are a respected industry benchmark. This accolade is especially meaningful because it’s voted for by professionals across the KBB sector, not a judging panel. It’s a genuine show of appreciation from those who know the industry best. James Nicholson, owner of Swiss Cottage, said:

“Winning showroom of the year is amazing for us and confirms everyone’s comments when they come into the showroom. It’s recognition for all the work we’ve done in creating a space that feels welcoming, familiar and aspirational.”

Opening in June 2024, the 1,900 sq. ft Swiss Cottage showroom has quickly established itself as a standout location. Designed to feel like a real home, the layout and styling are a clear example of how immersive showroom experiences can help customers visualise their dream kitchens. This is a concept we know resonates across our network.

From the latest German kitchen styles to innovative appliances, the Swiss Cottage team has created an environment that is as inspirational as it is practical. As James puts it:

“It’s a contemporary space with a home-like feel, a place for people to be inspired. Visitors feel relaxed, enjoy spending time with the team, and can start to really understand what they want from their kitchen.”

Of course, this success wouldn’t be possible without a strong team delivering excellent customer experiences, something James is quick to acknowledge.

“A big thank you to the whole team. This award is for all of us.”

Congratulations to James and the entire Swiss Cottage team. Awards like this reflect the strength of the Kutchenhaus franchise model and the passion of the people who bring it to life.
